Gurujon Ashor, Barisal

CSERF took efficacious measures to cover the significance of “Gurujon Ashor” in all the seven districts with the aim of creating awareness among the nation as to how we should act more responsibly towards the senior citizens of our country conveying them the righteous respect and attention. The Barisal event came up with the conviction that “it is simply a matter of injustice being exhibited towards the senior occupants of our country residing at the Old age home by their loved ones.”
Consequently, as presided by Md. Hafizur Rahman the Event of Gurujon Ashor was summoned in the Barisal District on the 27th of May,2017 (Friday) at the city’s BDS club.

The chief guest at this convention was Professor Gazi Jahid Hossain of Jhenaidaha College. The organization’s divisional coordinator Quazi Newaz initiated the welcome speech. In operation by Prokash Chandra Das, the special guests present at the meeting included Former director of Sher-e-bangla medical hospital Dr, Mod.Yousuf Ali, Al-Hajj Ali Abdur Razzak, Engineer M.A.Karim, the city’s metropolitan president of Awami league female ward Ferdousi Jahana, freedom fighter Enayet Hossain Chowdhury, the districts Sports organizational Secretary Nurul Alam Nur and many others.

With due respect, CSERF made all the effective arrangements to establish and convene the rights our senior citizens deserve. It has been identified through the seminar that the average longevity of people is rising, and with that the amount of old aged members in a family is also increasing. Hence due to ageing complicacies they are not being able to contribute wisely among the family and thus its leads them to severe frustration and dilemma. Likewise, CSEFR conducted sufficient research analysis and classified at the seminar that during such crucial circumstances the elderly members of our families highly require the right kind of love, support, and care.
