CSERF organized a musical event in honour of noted singer Sri Snehasis Chatterjee and Dr. Jyotsna Chattopadhyay from Robindra Bharati University, KolKata on 24 November 2017 at its Dhanmondi office premise Dhaka. Renowned singer Ms. Iffat Ara Nargis from Bangladesh was present as special guest. Mumtaz Ara Begum was the guest of honour. Also present were Mr. Abul Bashar Sumon, Mr. Abdur Rahim and Mr. Shishir Shikder. On the occasion, Sri Snehasis Chatterjee, Ms. Iffat Ara Nargis, Mr. Shishir Sikder, Mr. Abdur Rahim and child artist shreas presented a number of classical, folk and modern songs. The evening ended with a lively discussion on contemporary music and songs in Bangladesh, India and Pakistan.
